For DT, this journey began as a natural talent, but the turning point for this path was in 2020, during the lockdown, when his passion took shape. What started as a fun thing to do evolved into a thriving career, leading to collaborations with top artists. In this interview, we dive into his creative process, the challenges of being a multidisciplinary artist, and more.
How did your journey into graphic design start?
It’s just something I’ve always been able to do, but I really got into it in 2020 during the lockdown. I started to practice more, and we’re here now.
What motivates your designs?
Life, really, there’s no specific motivation. I just try as much as I can to bring my ideas to life in whatever medium they’re best presented in.

Oluwamillar, Ajebutter22, Asake, Boluday, Willy Jackson, Me Bash, and so many more.
Let’s talk about photography. How did you get into that?
I just love creating. Photography is another means of expression for me. I’ve always taken pictures of my friends, and I just added another layer to that. I took it a step further, and now I direct and edit videos.
Which would you say you enjoy the most: graphics design, photography, directing, or editing videos?
Hmm, I’ll say directing and design, but directing just trumps design.
How do you balance them? Do you often feel overwhelmed?
I do whatever comes; sometimes, I have more video work to do, and sometimes, I design. So, at times, one of them has to take the backseat because I’m working on other projects. Yes, I feel overwhelmed. I’m even overwhelmed at the moment because I have over four videos to deliver.
What’s the most challenging part of being an all-around creative?
It’s the amount of work on the ground at times and shuffling between them.
If you could pick a musician or fashion brand to work with, who would it be?
Hmmm, I have a few, but I’d say Rema, ZTTW, and Cruel Santino too. I feel we’d cook together.
So far, what would you say is your best collaboration yet?
We’ve made it, but it’s not out yet. It’s a short film, and it’ll be out in a few weeks. I’m excited for that one.
