Anthony Amadi, popularly known as DJ 808, is an international Disc Jockey born in Ilorin in the 90s and raised in Enugu State.
Dj 808 has been shuffling music records since 2016 with a distinct operational style. He keeps the dance floor electrified with a potent fusion of sounds emanating from the streets of Lagos island, with Afrobeats leaning templates. His set includes a potpourri of Afrobeats, Amapiano, Afrohouse, RnB and Hip-Hop. His love for music production and DJing has put him levels above his peers, as he is renowned for creating great mashups spontaneously.
DJ 808 links up with YKB on brand new amapiano fusion bop, “KRAZY” slated for release on the 8th of December 2023, produced by DJ 808 himself and merging different facets of his artistry, from alluring vocals paired with YKB’s dynamism and together they coast on the production, built on rhythmic strings, percussion breaks and Log drums.
