Nigerian music is set to roar into cinemas as Burna Boy, Mr Eazi, Darkoo, and Obongjayar feature on the official soundtrack for F1 The Movie. Titled F1 The Album, the 17-track project captures the energy and excitement of Formula 1, blending global music icons with cinematic flair.
Slated for release on June 27, alongside the film’s global premiere, the album includes original tracks from international stars such as Ed Sheeran, Doja Cat, Don Toliver, and Rosé. Each Nigerian artist contributes one track, adding Afrobeat vibrance to the high-octane project.

The film, directed by Top Gun: Maverick’s Joseph Kosinski and produced by Grammy-winning executive Kevin Weaver, stars Brad Pitt, Damson Idris, and Javier Bardem, with all 20 F1 drivers from the 2023 season making cameo appearances.
Burna Boy’s Don’t Let Me Drown and Obongjayar’s Gasoline headline the Nigerian entries, promising an electrifying audio-visual experience.
