BOLG RELEASES NEW GROOVY SONG AND A POTENTIAL ANTHEM “SEMPE”

His first single “Sempe”, debuted Friday, August 14, 2020. ‘Sempe’ means to bow or pay homage to whoever respect is due (someone bigger than you or of higher authority). This song gives an imagery of a ’90s themed Lagos party, and it was delivered under the heavy influence of afrobeat. The underlying message of this song is that one’s physical appearance does not reflect how powerful an individual is. Traditionally, Africans believe that one’s dressing portrays how rich, powerful or influential a person is. However, this artist challenges that theory through his debut song “Sempe”.
