Sunkanmi emerges back in the music scene with new 6 track EP “Body Language”

Olasunkanmi Rehanat Alonge (born 2 June 1987), better known by her stage name Sunkanmi, is a Nigerian songwriter and singer; Sunkanmi rose to recognition in 2015 when she released “For Body”, a song which had her enlisting the collaborative effort of a popular Nigerian musician artist Olamide. She is currently signed to Hit The Ground Records under which she has released numerous singles.

After taking a long break from the spotlight, behind which she worked through thick and thin to develop her art and creativity alongside adding a new skill to her skill set – Production and sound engineering, Sunkanmi is back into the music industry with a beautifully and wonderfully carved Extended Playlist Project – “Body Language”. This project “Body Language”, is a fine collection of different ranges of tempo (mid-tempo to high tempo) merging with several Genres of music (RnB, Pop, Amapiano and Electric house) to suit listeners tastes.

The EP is ushered with “Understand” produced by ace producer Youngjonn, which speaks about appealing to a partner to understand during communication. It proceeds to “Sugar Loving”, a song that takes listeners through the romantic sensation of two lovers. The Ep is then followed with “Body Language”, a song that’s the pivot and the main focus of the project . Other songs on the EP are “With You”, “Back Then” & “No No” all produced by Fresh Vdm & Phantom.

Sukanmi has created amazing music and wants her fans to join her on this musical journey geared towards greatness.
