Afrobeats favorite musical genius ADAORAH continues to enchant audiences in both Nigeria and across the globe. Her unique vocals paired with the familial sounds of afrobeats take you on a musical journey that always leaves listeners in awe. But Adaorah is no rookie to the music industry. While studying at a Grammy award-winning Visual Performing Arts Academy, she became classically trained as a “coloratura soprano” where she sang arias in several languages including French, Italian, Latin, and Deutsch, and toured the US performing and competing on multiple stages. She has now taken her talents to introduce herself as a permanent face in the Afrobeats space.
Adaorah recently collaborated with Rising Labs Studio to give an awe-striking performance at Coke Studio. She pulled up looking like the star that she is, and showed off her long legs in a hot pink miniskirt and a crop jacket. She performed her new single “Time Na Money” which samples AND features afrobeats legend Mike Okri, and has made waves across Nigeria’s top radio stations. “Time Na Money’‘ is an upbeat track with a catchy melody that transports you to a new age nostalgia. The message is very clear–if you want her time you have to earn it, and you can start by opening your wallet and pampering her.
Fans and critics have been hinting at a potential EP drop from Adaorah, but she has yet to confirm or deny any claims. Our sources confirm that we can expect another single this summer, followed by more fire music in the fall. As a global artist, Adaorah continues to use her US and Nigerian background to bridge the cultural gap through her music and experience.
