After the successful release of his debut single ‘HALO’ and his more recent single ‘WAKA’, Danie is set to release his debut project ‘Sorry I Overslept’ (SIOS). Speaking on the inspiration behind the title danie says:
‘Sorry I Overslept, because I feel like I’ve just been away on some personal journey of all types of self development. Before Halo last November, I had not really put out any music. So this is my way of saying I’m here now. I’ve been away, but I’m here now’.
The 7 track EP is a testament to Danie’s amazing song writing skills as every song on the EP was written by him. On his choice of a 7 track EP, Danie says:
‘I was going to put out six songs but listening to the whole project with the new ENERGY song (which was recorded January this year as opposed to other songs which were recorded last year), each song complimented each other really good the synergy was bliss so I decide to go with 7 songs’.
