Born Greg Blessing Chidebube in August 1996, Bubella is the second of three children. When she was young, she always was surrounded by music and over time these crystallized into her passion for the art. Trained as a vocalist by her mother, she picked up sonic influences from around the world and would later join The Revelations, a musical group which proved invaluable in honing her talents for a period of four years. By 2018 her formal education in music continued through Bubella registering at the Tenstrings Music Institute, a foremost institution reputed for shaping outstanding talent.
A skilled player of the guitar and piano, Bubella possesses a distinct voice that permeates her songs (which are mostly self-produced) like warm milk. If you dig well enough, you’d find her deliver a stunning cover of Elvis Presley’s iconic record “Wise Men.” She’s reached social media acclaim when a video of her performing live went viral and local blogs across the country, including Naijaloaded and Tooxclusive, shared her content shortly after.
