It’s a new week, and you know what that means – brand new Ghanaian music on Akwaaba Weekly!

With several recording artists issuing new releases on a daily basis, here is our pick of the best songs from emerging acts to come out of Ghana over the past week.

This list is in no particular order.

Eugy – Intro: 4play (@EugyOfficial)

“Dance For Me” hitmaker Eugy finally blesses music fans with his sophomore compilation release dubbed “4play” which follows 2017’s “Flavourz” EP. The UK-based Ghanaian act serves up visuals to trap-influenced contemporary R&B number, which appears to be the first installment of a visual series inspired by the 4-track project.

Amaarae – Fancy (@Amaarae)

Alternative Ghanaian act returns with her second 2020 release dubbed “Fancy”, hot on the heels of earlier outdoored “Leave Me Alone”. The bouncy sing-rap trap song is brought to life with an epic David Nicol Sey directed music video. 

Worlasi – Comot (@Worlasigh)

Highly rated Ghanaian alternative act Worlasi sings about getting over heartbreak on his latest single release “Comot”. The song is complemented by stunning visuals directed by a powerhouse directorial crew of Ghanaian actress Yvonne Nelson, and ace directors Hafiz and Felix Blayz.

Tecknikal – Rain Or Shine (@_Tecknikal)

Extrial Music signee Tecknikal has finally released his much anticipated single dubbed “Rain or Shine”. The scintillating love-bop was produced by ace producer Mikemillzonem and spots crisp eye-popping visuals directed by Victorious Films.

Quamina MP – Change Your Style (@Quamina_MP)

Ground Up Chale affiliate and prolific hitmaker drops what is already sounding like yet another banger! Aptly titled “Change Your Style”, the afro-infused tune is one for the dance floor and is accentuated by a thumping MOG-calibrated production.
