Boy Myles returns with a beautiful record, Shima

Something about the clever puns and sweet melodies of Tha Boy Myles’ December-released slow-burner “Boma” intimated that the Lagos-based musician was a talent to watch out for. Deftly melding diverse languages and cadences across cultural divisions and enlivening his breezy fow with infections inspired by Amapiano, Tha Boy Myles, born Ogunleye Olawale Michael, has shown that he has a natural affinity for tunes inspired by attraction and the resultant emotions they can cast over people.

The multi talented artist’s experimentation is in focus on “Shima”, his new release. A song that has some of the warmest singing across you’d get around as Tha Boy Myles softly leans into the pathos to showcase his affection for his love interest.

Shima looks destined to be a chart-topper.
