As 2024 gradually comes to a close, we’ve experienced sensational hit songs that have captivated our airwaves and introduced listeners to new sounds, musical styles, and artists. Among these standout artists are BoyPee, Hyce, and Brown Joel. This talented trio has been in the music scene, consistently releasing solo tracks.

Brown Joel’s music stems from personal experiences, resonating with fans, especially the new generation. His rich solo discography comprises songs like “Peace,” “Omo Ologo,” and a feature on “Canabi,” which appeared in Ejoya’s Class of 23.

Boypee boasts a distinct voice, blending soulful melodies with African lyricism to create something truly melodic. Hyce, a fiery artist, has been serving up tunes back-to-back since 2016, including hits like “Free Up the Bounce,” “Konfex,” and “Necessary.

In 2024, Brown Joel, Boypee, and Hyce collaborated to create a song that stands among the year 2024 hits, “Ogechi.” This infectious tune seamlessly blends native languages, smooth flow, and catchy lyrics. Upon release, “Ogechi” instantly became a sensation, garnering 10 million streams on Spotify and 4 million streams on YouTube.

The song’s massive success led to a remix featuring superstar Davido, which further catapulted its popularity. The remix’s official YouTube video racked up over 24 million views, while Spotify streams soared to 15 million. This remarkable feat solidifies “Ogechi” as one of the year’s most iconic hits.

Still, in 2024, the trio teamed up to bless listeners’ ears with “Constantly,” a romantic song about needing their partner’s love constantly.

Following the success of their joint collaboration, we eagerly anticipate more music from the trio, possibly including a joint project.
