In becoming the first African act to hit this mark on the music streaming app, Burna Boy continues a string of trailblazing successes. On June 3, 2023, he became the first African artist to headline a stadium in Europe, selling 60,000 tickets at the London Stadium.
On June 10th, barely a week after headlining at the London Stadium, he performed at yet another European Stadium. This time, becoming the first African act to perform at the UEFA Champions League Final, after delivering an energetic performance at the Ataturk Olympic Stadium, Istanbul.
