Chiamaka Nnadozie Leads Paris FC to Historic Coupe de France Win Over PSG

Paris FC clinched their first Coupe de France Féminine title in nearly two decades on Saturday after defeating Paris Saint-Germain in a dramatic penalty shootout at Stade de l’Epopée in Calais. The final ended 0-0 after regular time, sending the clash to penalties, where Nigerian goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie emerged as the hero.

Nnadozie saved spot kicks from U.S. international Korbin Albert and France’s Jade Le Guilly to seal victory for Paris FC, marking the club’s second triumph in the competition’s history. The Super Falcons star was outstanding throughout the match, pulling off a series of key saves to deny PSG a successful title defense.

The reigning African Women’s Goalkeeper of the Year has had a stellar season, recording 12 clean sheets that helped Paris FC qualify for the UEFA Women’s Champions League and secure a league playoff spot.

Nnadozie, who is widely expected to join English Women’s Super League side Everton at the end of the season, will hope to finish her Paris FC stint on a high when they face Dijon on Wednesday.
