Ishaq Baba Bello popularly known as Eeskay is an Abuja Based Rapper/songwriter and performer. Over the past 3 years; Eeskay and the double energy Gang have actively crafted their niche market in the country’s capital by pioneering a growing sound called “Afro-Drill”. Eeskay’s musical journey is topped by the staggering 4M+ streams and his gigantun pacesetter “Agbalagba” with Odumodublack off his album; Drill or Nah”.

Eeskay is set to follow up his debut album with a surprise dual packed single titled “Flimsy ExcusEEs/Bad Character” – An Afro drill record that features hard drill beats fused with Afro sonics produced by Cross and Tubase respectively. This release highlights Eeskay’s musical journey and upbringing while using music as a creative outlet to vent.

On FLIMSY EXCUSEES; Eeskay bases this record on characters ( Personalities) from his past trying to weigh down his journey to success; as he continually tries to overcome the temptations and keep his dreams alive. He depicts these personalities as (the pimp, gang leader and trapper) trying to hinder the main character (Himself).

The tale of BAD CHARACTER signals his upbringing as a kid; which viewed him as the “Black sheep” of the family. Eeskay sings about his acceptance of this role as he makes it work for the narrative when he sings “I get bad character” “I came, I saw, I changed the matter”.
