Grammy Nominated Josiah Bassey’s New Single “Pressure” Is A Masterpiece

Grammy Nominated NYC-based multi-genre singer, songwriter, and producer from Nigeria, Josiah Bassey, and 18-year-old Brooklyn native producer, L. Jean teamed up for a love-themed collaborative single, “Pressure”. The free-flowing R&B record has a strong repetitive rhythm, displaying versatility and presenting both artists with their different yet similar music backgrounds to instill an array of feelings in their listeners.

“Pressure” can be noted to have a hedonistic ring around it; tuneful with its catchy electric feel and strong bass lines seamlessly spun into lyrics ostensibly inspired by a lover’s addiction. With Josiah’s unconditional loyalty to creating authentic music, 2022 graced him with a well-deserved nomination at the Grammy ceremony for his originally written track “Hold Us Together” performed by H.E.R, featured in the Disney Plus movie “Safety”.

Josiah’s collaborations with Grammy Award-winning H.E.R., Mystro, Tone Stith, Maxx Moore, Tauren Wells, Samoht, Livv e.t.c. are a monument to his versatility. Pressure brings to further light L. Jean’s unique sound with which he has obtained heights to produce for Ne-Yo, A$AP Ferg, and Devvon Terrell, etc plus industry recognition and commendation from 9th Wonder, Khrysis, Cardiak, and many others in his field.
