Sierra Leonean rapper, Jelly Bee recently released a certified club banger titled “I Gboya” and it is taking the country by storm. Signed to homegrown record label, ABANGZ Originals, the eclectic lyricist serves a deliciously first single under the label’s imprint and it also features Deeno Jay.
Real name, Betty Lamboi, she was born and raised in Bo, Sierra Leone. She has a certificate in Computer Software, a Diploma in Procurement and Supply Chain Management and a soon to be a certified Degree holder in Business Administration from IPAM, University of Sierra Leone.
Jelly Bee is a four-time recipient of the South Best Female Rapper at the BEA (Bo Entertainment Awards) and she was formerly a member of the best rap musical group in Bo City known as the #Sugar_Flow_Factory. Aside from music, she is also a passionate feminist and advocates for the rights of women and girls in Sierra Leone.
