From the city of brown roofs, @Judoofthehiddensound, a recording artist calls his style, “Avant-garde” music: an experimental mixture of ideas and methods, borne from an alternative sound so sweet in tone; and fueled from his love for dodo and belief in the healing power of music.
The project, one of the fond memories; of long night recordings on a scrappy iPhone 5, of silent nights alone, where dilemma plagued the soul, chasing it to the riverbank of inspiration, and moments when the sound became a discovery of self; and it was in this journey, translucid was borne. Nights were sacrificed recording with his roommate @direbaba, the ep’s producer, and days were spent wandering the daily struggles for inspiration. In his words, “TRANSLUCID” was conceived from an internal effort to find solace, amidst chaos borne from the uncertainty of change; and on a journey towards self-awareness. The “TRANSLUCIDEP” comes after “Glades”, his debut ep, and is released under an affiliate label: “Retour Entertainment”
