Let us introduce you to a young, promising and versatile afropop gem KARE. The 21 year old who lives and makes music from Lagos, Nigeria with strong hopes of taking the Nigerian sound to more corners of the world. Kare’s first entry into the local scene was in 2017, after the release of his debut single ‘Shake It For Me’, the amateurish yet groovy record earned him a stage at Lemon Curd Festival and other musical stages set that summer.

Fast forward to July 2020, Kare finally released the snippet of his most anticipated single yet ‘Freaky’ and it currently has over 50,000 views across his twitter and Instagram. Freaky is a bubbly tune that’s also twice as passionate; the singer takes up several cadences along tight, meaningful lyrics and a sweet blend of afrobeat, RnB and dancehall. The song is everything Kare believes it is, a major milestone to propel him into greater heights as he officially announces his entry and returns to the studio to record his first EP set to be out in June 2021.

There’s a lot to be excited about Kare’s new release and what the odds are for him in an industry that was birthed by the likes of Rema, Oxlade, Omah Lay, Bella Shmurda, BadBoyTimz and more in just a couple of long months.
