Kev Skg’s ‘Wake and Bake’ is a remarkable and solid debut entry

If you’re looking for a dope up and comer to root for in your spare time, then this may just be the perfect one for you. With so much of the same music dropping on the daily, it’s always a refreshing feeling to come across a youthful fresh face that gets you excited for the future. That fresh face is none other than a rising artist who goes by the name of Kev Skg. Right off the bat, if you want a crash course on what you need to listen to by him, I’ll start off by saying that this is his official debut single.

On Wake and bake’, Kevs unites with long time friend and artist UC as they both shine on verses and a hook that matched smooth and buttery vocal talents. As you press play, you’ll immediately become enveloped in the bubbly and care free production that creates such a a cool ambience for the song as an overall piece.  Wake and Bake is a song about many things, from love to the hustle and family, it’s hard to not relate to a line at least. Kev’s release statement noted ‘I’m super excited to be releasing a song after a long period of self doubt and uncertainty, we finally arrived from a distant time. This song is for anyone out there that may be dealing with whatever circumstance; today is a new day, wake up and move!’

You can now download or stream ‘Wake and bake on any streaming platforms.
