Kossyvibes, born Kosichukwu Agbaim on May 31, 1997 is a Nigerian singer, songwriter with diverse musical style mix of hip hop, R&B and rap.
The fourth child in a family of five (5). He developed love for music at a tender age.
On moving to Lagos from Port Harcourt in 2019 , he began to make underground music in Ebute Metta, while looking to improve his sound and this led to his 1st single ‘Shitor’ produced by Fearless.
On Shitor, Kossyvibes is a loverboy who wants to get away from everything. It is a mid-tempo tune through which he paints a vivid picture. He sings about wanting only the drugs and his woman. Opening line “Take me away this time, no more Instagram” tells the story of a man tired of the troubles of the world and the stress that comes with it. Popping pills and wine with his woman is a great way to relieve the stress and smile about life. Kossyvibes then sings about the subject of his interest, a beautiful woman who is incredibly hot and the antidote to his pain. While he has the woman of his dreams, he still has to keep her away from the vultures circling. Kossyvibes’ songwriting on the track is commendable, as he tells a relatable tale about love in a city that never sleeps.
