Laime shows confidence and promise with new EP ‘If Summer Happened’

Laime further accentuates his individuality, authenticity, and the range he has to offer as an artist in the music industry. A project that took 2 years in the making, has finally come down to this moment right here, If Summer Happened – A “relatable and conscious” Afro fusion EP which focuses on confidence, personal growth, love, and the essence of making money. Laime’s ability to express his inner thoughts in a light, colourful and mellifluous manner, is what makes this project exceptional.

The title If Summer Happened is inspired by the lost summer of 2020 due to the Covid ‘19 pandemic. This EP Title, in accordance with the meaning behind each track transcends Laime’s colourful idea of the Summer that got away.

Laime ensured he kept this EP close to home by reconnecting with producers he had previously created magic with. Four out of Six of the tracks were produced by Lagos based producer, Mike Misan and “Higher Vibrations” being produced by Grammy award winning producer, Telz. While “Big Up Yourself “was produced by, Dami Rore. The project was also Mixed and Mastered by Timi Jay.
