Leading youth-oriented brands, Pith and Waf, join forces with strategic partnership

Two of the most influential brands in Nigerian youth culture and skateboarding Waf. and Pith, are releasing a much sought-after collection in Nigerian fashion on Tuesday, July 25. For the two brands which have a strong focus on community, coming together signals a convergence of youth culture.

First teased in October last year, the collection sees both brands fuse in terms of their shared message of community, as well as their production processes. The items, which include a Two-Piece (Shirts and Jorts), and T-shirts, feature Pith’s signature embroidery implementation, as well as a fusion of both brands’ iconography & design elements.

“We believe this collaboration will open new paradigms for African fashion, especially for young people, and show the amazing things we can create when more of us keep coming together to bridge the gaps that exist.”

Pith x WAF brings together two brands big on creating a community, driven by the value of freedom, the sense of individuality gained from expressing oneself without holding back, an ethos PITH as a fashion brand and WAF as a skate brand have been able to nurture over the years. With this collaborative effort, we aim to unite the worlds of clothing, art, skateboarding, culture, and youth to celebrate creativity and the ability for our generation of Africans to dream.

Waf. x Pith will launch on the 2nd of August online, and in-person at the Waf. store in Lekki, Lagos. There will be a pre-release pop-up at the Waf. store in Freedom Park on the 29th of July.
