Limoblaze wins Best Gospel Act Award At The 2024 MOBO Awards

Nigerian Gospel singer, songwriter and rapper, Limoblaze has achieved a remarkable feat by securing the coveted title of Best Gospel Act at the prestigious MOBO Awards. This monumental win not only marks Limoblaze’s debut at the MOBO Awards but also serves as a testament to his burgeoning career.

The MOBO Awards, revered as the United Kingdom’s foremost celebration of black music and culture, hosted its 26th edition in Sheffield on February 7, at the Utilita Arena Sheffield.

Limoblaze’s victory in the fiercely contested Best Gospel Act category, supported by Premier Gospel, underscores his exceptional talent and significant contribution to the Gospel music landscape in the UK. Despite facing stiff competition from esteemed nominees such as Annatoria, Calledout Music, Guvna B, Tofunmi Adorna, and Triple O, Limoblaze’s unique fusion of Hip Hop and Afrobeats, coupled with profound lyrics and captivating rap delivery, secured him the top spot, captivating audiences worldwide.

This triumph at the MOBO Awards further solidifies Limoblaze’s position as a rising star in the gospel music scene. With an impressive array of accolades under his belt since relocating to the UK, including 3 Premier Gospel Awards and 2 A Step FWD Awards, Limoblaze continues to ascend as a force to be reckoned with in the industry. Anticipation mounts for his upcoming “Limoblaze Live in London – Young and Chosen” concert scheduled for September 14. The lineup already promises electrifying performances from Portland-born singer Sam Rivera and Christian rapper Wande, with additional artists poised to be announced in the coming months.

His excellence in music also earned him a nomination for “Best Inspirational Single” at Nigeria’s prestigious music awards, The Headies.
