Listen to PLAYTIMI’s Debut Single “Thinkin About My Ex”.

PLAYTIMI, a pseudonym for vocalist-songwriter, Olutimilehin Olowookere. Born in
the ancient city of Ile-Ife, Osun State, Nigeria, he is part of the next bunch of African
music wonderkids redefining Afrobeats with enjoyable music and meaningful lyrics.

Churning out records in a soulful R&B sound, it is easy to see why the budding act
cites Paul Play, Wande Coal, Burna Boy, Frank Ocean, SZA as heavy influences in
his music.

On this afropop beat arranged by his producer friend, Brain Burster, 21-year-old Playtimi recorded his debut single where he flaunts his writing skills on a song he titles “thinkin about my ex”.

Getting his inspiration from Omah Lay‘s Bad Influence, the tune contains ear-pleasing vocals and beautiful melodies that gets you thinking so much about that one girl who is no longer with you.

Set to drop his first project later in the year, Playtimi is a name you should be on the lookout for.
