Loti’s latest single “Mainland” is a sonic masterpiece

The Lagos Mainland is the least affluent part of the city. It depicts both the city’s hustle and bustle as well as its joy, for Loti it is not just an experience but his reality and he wants to take you there with his music,  where everything is unfeigned and life is appreciated.

On “Mainland”, Loti appreciates his roots as the beautiful chaos that it is. He also talks about his life and how heavy his grind is.  “I’m from the mainland, I know say I ghetto but na real life” he sings with so much emotion on the hook, while being backed by very energetic crowd vocals which depicts the noisy nature of the city.

Produced by maverick producer WalahiSteph (L’enu,Alubarika) Mainland is not just a chronicle of Loti’s life but a fine blend of his classic “RnB Boy” style of music and danceable afrobeats elements over his ever soothing voice. Get a bottle of Soda, some Suya and enjoy, Mainland from Loti.

Mainland is the first single off Loti’s Upcoming EP Gorimapa Gangsta – LISTEN HERE
