Fagbayi Stephen Oladimeji (MESKEY), also known as ‘SUKASA’ is a Nigerian singer-songwriter. Born in the early 2000’s to Yoruba parents in Lagos, his musical pursuits began in secondary school with a group of friends who formed a group named Kings of Songs (KOS) inspired by the likes of YMCMB and dominating hip-hop/rap labels of the time. After numerous records and performances in school, Meskey released his official first single titled ABUAD Marlianz in 2019, an attention-grabbing record with reference to his alma mater. Under the Chop Life Gang umbrella, he went on to release other tracks which includes: Shayo featuring Kaydee Vibes, O Por featuring Roidd, Buga, and ‘Jaku’ the hit single. Three years since his last release, he is back with an EP titled L.I.F.E (Living in Faith Everyday).
His music style features a fusion of various genres blended seamlessly to display unique patterns primarily inspired by culture and Afrobeat.
‘L.I.F.E’ was birthed with a lot of passion and dedication. with the focus track like ‘Hustle’ featuring Shamzy and standout tracks such as ‘Life, Fame, Prayer, Storyteller and ORI’ makes the 6-track project a masterpiece.
He plans to influence and impact people with his music and the fans should also expect a new view of MESKEY on this new project.
