Liverpool Football Club has confirmed that Mohamed Salah has signed a new two-year contract extension, keeping him at Anfield until the summer of 2027. The Egyptian forward’s new deal, reportedly worth around £400,000 per week, makes him the highest-paid player in Liverpool’s history.

Salah joined Liverpool in 2017 from AS Roma and has since become one of the most iconic figures in the club’s modern era. He has scored 243 goals in 394 appearances across all competitions and has played a crucial role in Liverpool’s successes, including their Premier League, UEFA Champions League, FA Cup, and Carabao Cup victories.
This season, Salah has been in sensational form, scoring 32 goals and providing 22 assists, leading the Premier League goal-scoring charts. His decision to stay comes despite lucrative interest from Saudi Arabian clubs, with offers reported to exceed £130 million annually. Salah chose instead to remain at Liverpool and continue his legacy with the Reds.
Speaking on his new deal, Salah said: “I believe we can win more major trophies, and I’m excited to continue this journey with Liverpool. The fans, the club, and the city mean so much to me.”
