MORSE RELEASES FIRST SINGLE, “WOAH!” + VIDEO

Nigerian Hip hop artist, Morse, has released a new, head-bobbing single, titled, “WOAH!”. The song is a nod to the carefree, heavy-on-life demeanor of contemporary Nigerian millennials and Gen-Zers. With its heavy trap influence and self-indulgent lyrics, “WOAH!” seeks to reignite the feeling of going out to have fun, as the pandemic rages on. In a statement about the song, Morse pointed to the influence of artistes like Pop Smoke and Dave. “I just wanted that pre-game feel, you know,” he said. “The type of songs that you listen to on your way to having a good time. I wanted to recreate that.” The song features rapper Sixth Cell
