After releasing upbeat songs like Love Me Now, Casanova and a King Promise collaboration See What You’ve Done, Mr Eazi takes a more personal turn with Violence. Unlike his earlier work, he sings with a bare and unadorned voice, allowing silence and emotion to build the story. This style highlights his increasing maturity as a musical storyteller.
In Ademola Falomo’s visually arresting music video for Violence, a home becomes a prison of memory. Directed with minimalist precision, the film explores the wreckage of intimacy, where every room is haunted by the ghost of what was.

“I wanted to explore the kind of violence that doesn’t leave bruises, the silence, the distance, the emotional cut-offs that happen when love turns cold. It’s the most honest song on the project for me.” Says Mr Eazi
