Nigeria’s designer, Olaolu Slawn, adds to his list of design work as he has been commissioned to design one of England’s premier domestic football cups, where over 700 clubs come together to compete to win it and make history.
The announcement was made public on May 8, 2024, with an official video posted on the Emirates FA Cup’s social media. The video features Olaolu himself in what appears to be his workshop, where he brainstorms, and shows him spraying the code date ‘20.05.24’ with his name right below.
This commission came right after his announcement of his ‘Custom Slawn Dial,’ a collaboration with Rolex, on the release of his limited-edition Rolex luxurious watches, as well as his unique design for the 2023 BRITs award and many more.
