Nottingham Forest have confirmed that Nigerian international Ola Aina has signed a new three-year contract, committing his future to the club until 2028.
The 28-year-old defender initially joined Forest from Torino in July 2023 on a one-year deal and quickly became a key figure in the squad. His solid performances during the 2024–25 season helped the club secure a seventh-place Premier League finish and a spot in next season’s UEFA Conference League.
Reacting to the new deal, Aina said, “I’m over the moon. I can’t wait to continue this journey with the club. It’s always felt like home.”
Ola Aina, who has earned over 40 caps for Nigeria, brings experience and versatility to Forest’s defence as they prepare for European football for the first time in nearly 30 years.
