Purp Wins Nigerian Idol Season 10, Takes Home ₦30M Grand Prize

After weeks of show-stopping performances and intense competition, Purp has emerged as the winner of Nigerian Idol Season 10. The grand finale, held on Sunday, July 14, saw Purp beat fellow finalist Raymu in a closely contested public vote.

Hosted by IK Osakioduwa, the live show featured standout performances and special guest judge 9ice joining regular judges Omawumi, Ric Hassani, and Iyanya. The panel praised both finalists for their talent and growth throughout the season.

As the new Nigerian Idol, the talented singer walks away with ₦30 million in cash, a brand-new SUV, a DStv Explora with a one-year premium subscription, and a recording contract to kick-start their music career.

An emotional Purp thanked fans, saying, “This is a dream come true. I’m so grateful for the love and support—this is just the beginning.”

Season 10 ran under the theme “Your Voice, Your Victory”, showcasing some of the country’s brightest emerging talents.
