49th

After months of anticipation, UK-based singer-songwriter of Caribbean and African heritage Rachel Kerr is out with her debut album “Masterpeace”.

Rachel Kerr is no stranger when it comes to music in the UK. For over a decade, she has made her presence felt in a variety of ways from touring the US, UK and Africa to opening for big musical acts such as Lauryn Hill, Brandy, Musiq Soulchild, K. Michelle, Kirk Franklin and Fred Hammond.

Aside from her career as a singer-songwriter, The Grammy Award Association member and BET Music Matters endorsed artiste is an entrepreneur. Under her performing arts academy, Singercise, she has worked with some of Africa’s biggest artistes including Tiwa Savage, P-Square, and Waje as a vocal coach.

Having the MOBO award-winning 2012 EP “Back to Music”, and 2016’s free-mixtape titled “Unboxed” under her belt, Rachel Kerr is finally ready to share her debut album “Masterpeace” with the world. “It’s more than releasing my first album, I’m releasing hope through my musical Masterpeace”.

Choosing to write and co-produce all 11 tracks herself, “Masterpeace” is an undiluted and unapologetic expression of Rachel Kerr’s most sincere musical work which touches on the themes of love, hope, and positive affirmations. Enjoy the 1-hour live performance of “Masterpeace” here.
