Rising producer, singer, and rapper AddyOX has ended her music hiatus with two new singles, My Time and iCon, which are available on all music streaming platforms.
AddyOX first teased new material in late August via Twitter with a clip of her performing iCon at Food Farm. Since then, she performed the song at 90s Baby and the University of Lagos (UNILAG). And promoted the music on her social media platforms. On Wednesday, the rapper revealed on her social media that she would release another track titled My Time today.
My Time, helmed by Massstabber, boasts an exuberant track with distorted chants and glistening keys atop thumping drums. Tantolistic-produced number iCon is a more upbeat track that will instantly have you burning up the dancefloor. While both share similar structures, their subject matter is different. My Time addresses her unavailability for people who once overlooked her and only show up because she is receiving immense support. Highly-anticipated tune, iCon showcases the rapper’s self-confidence and low tolerance for phoney relationships and naysayers.
