Ukiwe David who is also known by the stage name ‘Rapstixz’ is an artiste, producer and audio engineer. He is a 19 year old Nigerian – American, who lives in the United States. When asked what inspires his music he references real life experiences. His primary genre is Afrobeats due to his experience of the Nigeria music industry, but he can also take on other genres. His records like ‘One Day’ & ‘Mean It’ proves it. While One day is a soul record, Mean it is a RnB record. When asked to list the artistes that inspired his music, he says, ‘There’s a lot of them honestly. I probably won’t be able to list them all’.
Speaking on this EP he says; “I titled this ep ‘in the meantime’ because I didn’t plan on dropping an EP, my plans were to keep dropping singles till my first album. All songs on the EP were recorded at the same time period last year. Listening to the songs I created during that time period again, it just felt cohesive and at that point My team & I felt we could make do with these, and arrange them into an EP in the meantime. So that’s how the name was gotten”

False start (Come through) is a song that talks about meeting a girl at a party in Cincinnati.
Blood is a love song,he started catching feelings for this a girl, It didn’t make sense to him, He had to express himself through this song.
Blow is birthed by the creation of this hard beat and it had been in his drive for some time. In the song,he expressed how He felt that everyone has haters but when they blow up it’s more visible, because there’s always that one person that never believe in the vision, and there’s always a pressure that comes with blowing up.
Blood is a love song he had to express himself through his music to show love and affection .
