Simi is set to captivate audiences yet again with the release of her latest single, “All I Want” slated for release on the 23rd of February. This tracks offers insight on what to expect from her 5th studio album that’s in the pipeline to be released. With “All I Want,” Simi delivers an Afropop anthem, fusing Yoruba, Pidgin and English organically in her trademark manner. She describes the song us a joyous, upbeat tune that narrates how true-love seekers crave to be intentionally loved.
It is a blend of Appraisals, heartfelt confessions and a call to action to one’s lover that they wake up to the act of reciprocating and being intentional about said love. Simi’s songwriting prowess is on full display on this song, with lines like “Chemistry wey pass chemical, no do me like Jidenna do Erica. Don’t carry Mile 2, drop me for Ketu.”
After her tour with Alicia Keys in 2023, and collabs with Spyro and Adekunle Gold, she released her only single of the year, “Stranger” that was an RnB track.
