From a very young age, BKay East Gaad has had a deep connection and love for music. Surrounded by rhythms, melodies, and tunes from various genres played in his home by his parents and family members, he was influenced by heavy hip-hop, smooth R&B, and native highlife tunes. These diverse musical influences helped shape BKay East Gaad as he stepped into the music scene.
Hailing from the southeastern side of the country, music was already a part of him. He embraced it as a medium to share his story, experiences, and lifestyle. BKay East Gaad has also mastered the two essential genres that are integral to his identity: Afro-Fusion and Rap.
