Emmanuel Orji, simply known to music enthusiasts as Emmeno, is one of the leaders of the new school of producers reshaping the sound of the Nigerian music industry. His specialty is Hip-hop music and his recent works are quickly setting him apart as one of the best in the genre. That comes as no surprise; with years of experience in the game, the multi-instrumentalist has developed a strong work ethic, keen listening ear and applaudable attention to detail that is starting to pay off nicely. He headlined the production of Hotyce’s Red Hot Ice Cold Vol 1 and his clientele already boasts of the likes of MI and Jesse Jagz as well as MTV Base, for whom he produced the beat used on their 2018 cypher.

His dedication to his craft has culminated in the release of his very own debut body of work, a 4-track EP titled “Long Nights, Short Mornings”. Though, only a few days old, the project – which features BarelyAnyHook, Maka, Frescool and Phlow – is already generating all the right noise among Hip-hop faithfuls.

There’s definitely more to come from Emmeno but we’re already loving and in awe of what we’ve heard thus far.
