Fatimah Binta Gimsay is a Nigerian screenwriter, director, and producer who has made an incredible mark on Nigeria’s entertainment landscape; she has written thousands of minutes of primetime television and contributed content as a developer, researcher, and story editor. Her work, spanning telenovelas, web series, and award-winning short films, shows her relentless passion for storytelling that connects.
Gimsay’s works span from Hush (2016), a telenovela for Africa Magic, where she displayed her ability to craft suspenseful, emotionally charged narratives. This set the stage for a prolific run, including Battleground: Final Showdown (2018) and Unbroken (2018–2019), where she served as a screenwriter, researcher, and more. Her versatility shines in her works from epics that blend Nigerian cultural themes with gripping drama. She also joined the writing team for Tinsel (2021), Nigeria’s iconic soap opera, further solidifying her reputation as a powerhouse in serial storytelling.

Beyond telenovelas, Gimsay has pushed boundaries in digital content. She created and wrote Flat 3B: AUNTY (2018), a witty 3-episode YouTube series, and Man of Her Dreams (2018).
