FirstKlaz (pronounced as First Class) is one of the music acts buzzing this year. Coming straight from Abuja, FirstKlaz is among the acts spreading the sound of the federal capital, just like ODUMODUBLVCK.

Not to be boxed into just one genre, FirstKlaz delivers a unique blend of Afrobeats, Fuji, hip-hop, R&B, and beautiful sounds that he mixes together to create lovely tunes. This is evident in his impressive discography, from his 2021 smooth track ‘Sliders’ to his 2024 hit ‘Gen-Z Fuji,’ where he proves his ability to craft tunes regardless of the genre.

The track ‘Gen-Z Fuji’ further spread his name, leading to a remix with Terry Apala.

FirstKlaz did not stop there but continued the ‘Gen-Z’ series with the release of ‘Gen-Z Faaji’ featuring superstar Joeboy. This track showcases both artists blending on a soft instrumental that screams enjoyment, as the title suggests.

This led to his most recent beautiful tune, ‘Gen-Z Arewa,’ the third track from this series, which has earned him cosigns from industry top acts like Tay Iwar, Skales, Olamide, who showed love to the song, and Blaqbonez, who mentioned it is something new and fresh, like he has never heard before.
