In the world of Electronic Dance Music, Kah-Lo has grown to become one of the faces representing the genre both at home here in Nigeria and overseas. Born and raised in Lagos, Nigeria, she got to experience Lagos life before relocating to New York for university education. There, she made a career in marketing for one of the biggest music platforms in the early 2010s: SoundCloud. Likewise, the social media platform Twitter, now known as X.
Before fully making her mark in music, she collaborated with Riton, which gave birth to their first song, “Betta Riddim”,in 2016. This collaboration led to more single collaborations, including the viral hit “Fake ID”, and a joint project titled “Foreign Ororo”, featuring Nigerian superstars Davido and Mr. Eazi.
With her unique vocals and talent, Kah-Lo has been featured on musical projects like Ibiza Anthem alongside one of the biggest Electronic Dance Music artists, Calvin Harris, and Diplo’s “Higher Ground” EP, Selena Gomez’s “Back To You” remix, as well as multiple summer soundtracks.
Her song, “Get It”, was also featured on the EA Sports FC 24 soundtrack.
In 2023, Kah-Lo also blessed the world with her debut album titled “Pain/Pleasure”, which contains 14 beautiful tracks with production from Kieran Watters, MNDR, Phil Scully, TMXO, Omega, and many more, including Kah-Lo herself.
