Here’s the scoop if you’re sleeping on Nu Baby; wake up!
Born Tolu Oguwomoju, Nu Baby is an IB-bred Afro-fusion artiste with a lot of talent and a high ceiling for success. Blessed with the gifts of vocals, range and versatility, he is definitely an artiste to keep a close eye on.
Fresh from returning to Nigeria after having completed his tertiary education in Canada, Nu Baby released his first two official singles – “Ly” and “IV” – in 2018. He took substantial time away to rebrand himself and improve his artistry before returning in 2020 to bless us with “Cover You”, a wonderful single that featured the fast-rising Buju.
Fast forward to January 15 of this year, Nu Baby took the next step in his journey to stardom by releasing “Two For You”, a two-track project, for our listening pleasure. The Ejoya music distributed EP delivers uplifting instrumentation, atmospheric vocals, and infectious melodic elements on both tracks, making it a worthy listen.
There’s going to be more to come from Nu Baby in the coming years but what is on offer right now is already quite exciting and worth a try.
