Born Quiren Doubara Dan Odoko, Quiries makes music that’s just as exotic as his first name. The singer and songwriter possesses a unique voice that he uses to tell personal stories. He’s an Afrofusion artist, predominantly blending our local Afrobeats with the western influence of R&B music. His boyish good looks have helped endear him to the Gen Z members who form his target audience. However, he substantiates the love his organic following has for him with a natural talent and a desire to grow his craft. Hence, it should come as no surprise that the young musician is bagging awards at the state level.
Quiries, with the proper management, is destined for the top. There is an abundance of evidence to support that assertion. He possesses the cadence of a foreign R&B artist – think Chris Brown – but maintains a songwriting style that hits close to home. Throw in the ability to induce goosebumps by hitting high notes.
