STRAFFITTI IS BACK WITH NEW PROJECT “STRAFF FROM NIGERIA”

Straffitti, one of the most versatile artists from the continent is back with a new Afro-pop project set to drop 11th of September 2020. The seemless combination and transitioning of Afro-HipHop, Afro-beats, Afro-soul & Afro-fusion shows his eccentric style on the project, making it a refreshing listening experience from top to bottom.  This is definitely a banger filled one with features from top-notch African superstars like Zlatan Ibile, Ice prince, Prettyboy DO, Buju and furthermore on deluxe KidaKudz & PsychoYP.

“Necessary” the first track of the project is a simple melodic Afro-rhythm which highlights the struggle and come up as a creative youth like Straffitti, trying to find his footing around the streets and music scene. It furthermore sheds light on how persistent & consistent you have to be to make it from this part of the world, making money to fuel your dreams and aspirations. “Aaliyah” is a heartbreak tale of Straffitt’s breakup with his ex-lover which her voicenote plays in the first 5 seconds of the song.He literally still begs for her love and affection even after the breakup which is an emotional twist to the rapper and what he identifies for. Its quite unclear the reason for her decision, although he gave hints of her wanting so much, but he couldn’t give all at that point (money, love & time). He further states in the song that he is promising all of that and they should get back as soon as she hears the song.

“Shanawole & Lepa” Are instant afro-pop bangers straight from first listen. On “Shanawole” Straffitti eats up the Amapiano vibe with a diffrent approach to the Continental shaking genre and gives “Lepa” a tough one to drown him on the stupendous beat with hardknocking percussions. This also shows how versatile he is, ranging from Real life stories, Heartbreak, Dancing & twisting tracks.
