The 49th Guide To: Salary weekend

February has been but a minute. After putting in your fifteen hours a day all month, this is one of the few moments you get to splurge your earnings on whatever you choose to. Here’s a short guide to do it properly:

Sleep:

49th

Money can’t leave a sleeping person’s pocket. If you’ve been dealing with a proper financial crisis since the beginning of the year, this is the time to sleep it off. Just watch your money sit in the bank and spend your dreams enjoying life as it should be.

Turn up with your friends:

You might be in the mood for some catching up to do. All the promises of linking up should be fulfilled now that money has gotten in your hands. Bills on you, tell them to come through.

Visit your family:

If you’re in the same city as your parents and you’ve been using the classic “Work don choke” excuse to evade them, then this is your shot at turning a new leaf. Be a good offspring and show your family some love this weekend. You’d leave there feeling better and it’s a top recommended way to improve your productivity.

Go to a cinema:

There were so many great movie releases this month which you might have missed out on. Go through one of the movie catalogues available and pick out one to watch. It gets better if you get to go with someone you fancy. Try not to be a workaholic, seeing that you won’t know when you’re 40 and at a risk of dying of a stroke.

Gatecrash the nearest party:

There’s always a turnt owanbe going down close to you, you just need to find it. Put on that cloth you’ve been saving for your cousin’s wedding, get yourself lit and hit the streets. Wherever you see them having a party, join in the felicitation and sit on the side of the bride’s family. Whatever you do, don’t talk about the family. Discuss the state of the nation and get into the flow; Dope music, free food and good vibes.
