This November, the message of A Rainbow For Christmas will be heard before it is seen with the release of The Sound of Christmas, the film’s original soundtrack. This new sonic experience expands beyond the screen, offering a powerful celebration of the film’s core themes: truth, courage, and love.
The soundtrack introduces two powerful original tracks, Home For Me and Rainbow Shine, conceived by the film’s creator, Prosper Light. These songs provide a soundscape that matches the emotional depth of the film, blending art and advocacy in a way that is unique to African storytelling.
At the heart of the music is the powerful contribution of Rainbow Voice, a Congolese artist and “artivist” who wrote and performed the tracks. He is known for relentlessly using his craft to support marginalized communities and create awareness, proving his belief that music can heal, unite, and awaken. This collaboration reflects the core values of inclusivity and representation championed by OGWA Studios.
This project marks another milestone for Prosper Light, the Nigeria-born albino storyteller and visionary filmmaker known for his fearless exploration of identity. This work continues his mission to tell authentic, emotionally charged, and socially conscious African stories, transforming personal narratives into universal reflections of humanity.
