Viveeyan and John Deux combine on ‘Take Me’

49th

Take Me is a song about letting go and accepting vulnerability in love. The contemporary pop rnb instrumental sets the tone for the mood as the character expresses the theme with lines like “let’s fall of the cliff and dive in”. We go on to see a declaration of blind optimism with the line “I don’t care what’s amiss”, as the character readily risks it all with their partner. The groovy vibe of JonnDeux’s well produced instrumental immerses you in that love high while Viveeyan’s storytelling drives the point home.

Jonn Deux is a music producer, sound engineer and owner of VON26 Studios based in Nigeria. With engineering credits on critically acclaimed projects like Paybac Iboro’s headies nominated “Cult” album and Elveektor’s “NSIBIDI II”, he is making a mark in the Nigerian music scene.

Viveeyan is a professional singer and creative songwriter based in Lagos Nigeria. She has released songs like Taya Me, Your Lover and the recent “Don’t Take Our Lives” with ShadowGuy. She also featured in Paybac Iboro’s “Cult” on the track “Nigerian Dream”.
