Ruger Breaks New Milestone

Asiwaju, the singer’s smash hit song that’s been at the zenith of TurnTable Naija Top 100 Singles chart for six weeks, has now set a new record of a 7-week dominance matching the streak of Kizz Daniel’s Buga and Fireboy DML’s Bandana. It tallied 54 million on-demand streams (No. 2 on streaming) and 77.7 million in radio reach (No. 1 on the radio.)

Omah Lay’s Soso continued its steady ascent to the top, peaking at #2. Kizz Daniel’s RTID, Zinoleesky’s Personal and Mavins’ Won Da Mo round up the rest of the top 5.

Tems Makes History

With her Grammy award win for Future’s Wait For U, Tems has become the first Nigerian act to be the recipient of a Grammy award. It speaks of the massive strides the artist has taken in the past few years.

Legend Or Not?

Legacy act and popstar Wande Coal has announced that his third studio album is en route and would be released on the 30th of March. It’s titled, Legend Or No Legend and the most recent single, Kpe Paso features Olamide. Other singles include, Come My Way and overall the album is 13 tracks.

Sophomore EP For Lojay

Pop sensation, Lojay has recently announced that his EP, Gangster Romantic would be released on the 3rd of March. It contains the lead singles Leader, Canada ft. DJ Maphorisa & Kabza De Small and Moto, which is the latest pre-released single out of the trio.

Tay Iwar Working On Something New

Afro-Soul act, Tay Iwar revealed on social media that his new project is an EP and it’s on its way, as it is only halfway done i.e 50% done as he stated. 

Calm Down Overakes Love, Nwantiti

Rema’s Calm Down has now surpassed the total views of Ckay’s Love Nwantiti to clinch the status of the most-watched music video for an Afrobeats song. The album the song stems from, Rave & Roses have also risen to a new peak of #176 on the Billboard 200 album chart.
