Kohdee collaborates with Tekno on brand new single, “GO WELL”
Fast-rising Afropop sensation, Kohdee has linked up with popstar, Tekno on his new single, ‘Go Well.’ This Amapiano fusion bop is primed to send dancefloors on fire with its groovy beat and contagious melodies.
Produced by the renowned Ransom Beatz (6ix9ine/Ajebutter 22), ‘Go Well’ is a self asserting anthem where Kohdee declares his intent to conquer the industry and commitment to foil any barrier. The lyrics narrate his journey, touching on monument points of his progress and an unrelenting work ethic to elevate his community and make them proud. Tekno, an accomplished sinher, songwriter and producer is a dominant force in the music industry. Majorly known for his smash hits like as ‘Duro, ‘Pana’, ‘Skeletun’ and many others. He is a global sensation that has become a mainstay on charts in Nigeria and abroad. Notable accolades include nominations for Best New Music Act at The MTV Africa Music Awards (2016), Song of The Year at the Soundcity MVP Awards (2016), and Best International Act Africa at the BET Awards (2017). In 2019, he also featured on Beyoncé’s The Lion King: The Gift soundtrack.
Kohdee, born Ogechukwu Otu, has been an insurgent force in the industry since 2018. In 2020, he premiered his seven-track debut EP, ‘The Link’, featuring guest appearances from artistes like 1da Banton. He then linked up with the acclaimed high-life band om his 2021 hit ‘Mexebu.’ Earlier this year, he released hit song ‘Mr. Fantastic’ which heralded a new era in his career, alongside accompanying visuals and an intriguing dance video.
