Olayinka Owoseni, AKA Yimeeka is a Nigerian producer, songwriter, sound designer and creative director. Her music journey kick-started at the tender age of 12 in highschool and professionally in 2020. She has collaborated with renowned brands and artists over the years, with Davido amongst them.
Influenced by artists and producers like Pheelz, Jon Bellion, Ed Sheeran, Benny Blanco, and Ryan Tedder, Yimeeka’s genres include alternative, R&B and Afrobeats. She also plays the role of creative director for “riiicollective” owned by Pheelz. Yimeeka intends to use her music as a medium to convey her thoughts, feelings and voice to be heard.
Her latest single, “Iro” which dropped on Friday, the 11rh of April, 2024 is produced by Yimeeka, Pheelz, Smeez and D3an and is an interesting fusion of Afrobeats and Amapiano.
